Lil'MaQ Performing at For Teens Only Expo 2009

Wassup! I'll be performing at Charlotte's first FOR TEENS ONLY EXPO--a full day of education and entertainment for teens, BOYS AND GIRLS, ages 11-17 and parents!! There's something for the ENTIRE FAMILY! Based on the event’s theme “For Teens Only: I Am Worth Saving,” they will offer information to encourage healthy decision-making, respect, responsibility, goal setting, career planning and youth activism on the issues that matter most to teens.

Expected to draw more than 5,000 to 7,000 teens and their parents, the event will feature a host of speakers and interactive seminars – headlining positive local and national experts and celebrities – as well as a wide variety of entertainment for the whole family to enjoy. There will be performances from celebrities in almost every musical genre, from Rock, R&B, Latin Rock, Reggaeton to even Rap including artists like Young Joc.

The event takes place October 3, 2009 at the Charlotte Convention Center from 8:30 am to 7:00 pm. So teens, get ready for a positive day of entertainment, fun and growth!

Long Time , No See

Sorry I haven't posted anything new in a few weeks. I've been crazy busy traveling. On a recent trip to New York I performed at the album release party for Frankie Beverly and Maze's new tribute album. The show was starring Joe and I was the opening act. My dancers and I were extremely excited by this opportunity and we completely rocked the house. Although that was very exciting, what's even more exciting is that I am a SENiOR now! I'll be graduating early and will be able to pursue my music full time. College is still very much so in the future though, so please don't think I'm planning on continuing life with just a high school diploma. My education will be furthered in the near future.
